This is an in-office position.   Responsibilities: - Be main conduit of communication to insured and handle day-to-day correspondence with client (email, phone) for commercial accounts. - Use discretion and judgement to interpret policy language and communicate changes in coverage to the insured.       - Act as the relationship builder with the account.                         - Communicate with carriers and insured to respond to their questions and/or issues. - Investigate audit discrepancies and explain them to insured and/or producer. - Understand the insured’s business/operation. - Process policy changes as directed by the producer or the insured. This is a remote position.   Responsibilities: - Works Massachusetts Teachers Retirement System (MTRS) monthly exception reporting for all Charter school clients - Import MTRS reports from ADP each month. - Run and distribute MTRS Member not Enrolled reports to clients. - Assists in clarifying MTRS pensionable earnings (stipends, bonuses, extra pay, etc.) - Assist full-service clients with outstanding MTRS matters including pensionable earning corrections, retirement form salary calculations, corrections resulting in position eligibility. - 401(k), 403(b) Retirement Contribution report processing and tracking - Utilize internal tracking system to retrieve work in priority order. - Enter work into internal tracking system. - Maintain regular and punctual attendance. - Performs general administrative support for Client Services department as needed. - Back-up for answering HRK main number. - Works on special projects as is needed. The ideal candidate will be motivated to succeed, is well organized, able to prioritize, and able to work well with a team.   Responsibilities: - Provide day to day support and advocacy in guiding client through the claim process, including reporting, negotiation through settlement /resolution of the claim. - Act as a claims advocate and liaison for clients. - Proactively monitor claims activity, action plans and reserves, drive outcomes and facilitates resolutions. - Manage the client’s current claims’ management program, including property managers, brokers, financial institutions, carrier, third-party administrator, third party vendors, adjuster contracts and internal processes and provide advice on enhancements. - Own the RMIS and/or other claims data management system; obtain loss data, keep up to date; train others, etc. - Provide regular updates to the client as schedule and on an ad hoc basis. - Manage tenant loss data and work with third parties, as needed. - Develop, maintain, and enhance strong working relationships with Insurance Carriers, Third Party Administrators, Clients, and Account Team. - Assist and when appropriate lead claim strategy meetings, which include review of key claims driving loss history or impacting client’s bottom line. - Assist in managing claim audits and subrogation services, if applicable. - Provide technical support by conducting coverage review of applicable insurance policy and reservation of rights/ denials from insurance carriers and determine any opportunity for advocacy of coverage and then assist with such advocacy. - Work with insurance carriers to establish claim protocols that establish proper claim handling, reserve standards and settlement authority. - Assist in completing and analyzing the client’s loss history and provide advice to Claim Consultant, Account Executive, and client on managing total cost of risk. This is a hybrid position.   Responsibilities: - Responsible for achieving operational efficiencies, driving continuous improvement, and maintaining team development and learning needs. - Accountability for successful reporting of accurate financials that are in accordance with GAAP. - Collaborates with process leads to ensure consistent processes are followed within each region. - Lead field SSC General Ledger operations to ensure standard processes are followed, operational efficiencies are identified, and corporate targets and deadlines are being met. - Track resourcing needs and partner with HR to ensure appropriate backfilling and training. - Identify offices that are not following the Hilb standard processes. - Develop all GL associates and identify and implement training as needed. - Responsible for data integrity for field financials; focusing on each level of the balance sheets and income statements. - Work with Onboarding team to oversee agency integration and data cleanup efforts. - Continuously drive a one Hilb view versus a regional or agency focus - Responsible for implementing a consistent standardized process defined by Hilb. - Audit current process to ensure adhesion to current Hilb standards. - Monthly and Quarterly review of profit center financials - Develop and maintain performance metrics for objective. - Liaison with the Operations Qualifications: - 8+ years of experience in a Finance & Accounting Role, minimum 5 years of hands-on accounting experience - Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (required) - Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Master of Business Administration (MBA) preferred. - Agency insurance experience required, with a preference for working knowledge of AMS 360 - Shared Services Center background with experience in developing and implementing global workflows. - Candidates need to have a proven track record of utilizing technology to continuously improve efficiencies in financial processes. - Functional expertise in FP&A, general accounting, financial reporting, and finance operations - Demonstrated leader with the ability to influence and motivate others to drive results in a multi-location environment. This process includes attaching all invoices and renewal notices to clients’ files and set up suspense's to follow-up on renewals and payments. - Follow up on daily activities list. - Send emails to clients if renewals and/or invoices are not paid. - Daily review of monthly expiration lists to make sure policies have been renewed. - All other duties as assigned.  Qualifications: - High School or bachelor’s degree. - Minimum license requirement: 4-40 - Excellent Customer Service Skills - Punctual and reliable - Ability to multi-task and take direction. - Organized - Excellent verbal and writing skills. - Computer knowledge including ability to type 38-40 words per minute.
