The Hilb Group is currently seeking a motivated and ambitious Personal Lines Account Technician to join our team. This position will report to our agency located in Putnam, CT. The ideal candidate will be motivated to succeed, is well organized, able to prioritize, and able to work well with a team. This is an in-office position.
Responsibilities:
- Provide policy administration, data management, and document processing
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients
- Communicate with clients via phone, emails, or in person as needed
- Manage customer inquiries and follow up as needed i.e. policy questions, complaints, billing, etc.
- Process and follow up on policy changes/endorsements
- Work through and monitor daily task lists
- Demonstrate accuracy and effectively document all correspondence in our Client Management Systems.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent interpersonal/communication skills
- Punctual, Reliable, and Organized
- CT Property & Casualty Experience preferred, but will train the right person
- Experience with Vertafore products is a plus
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products
- Ability to multi-task and take direction
- Excellent verbal and writing skills
- Ability to work effectively with team members in department and agency
