The Hilb Group is currently seeking a motivated and ambitious Registry Clerk to join our team. This position will report to our agency located in Southborough, MA. The ideal candidate will be motivated to succeed, is well organized, able to prioritize, and able to work well with a team. This is an in-office position.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize the CVR system to process vehicle registrations, title transfers, renewals, and other related transactions. Ensure the accuracy of data input and output in the system.
- Assist customers with inquiries related to vehicle registrations, titles, fees, and other motor vehicle-related matters. Work with dealers and customers to assist with completing registry transactions. Provide clear and accurate information both in person and via phone or email.
- Verify required documents such as proof of insurance, identity, and residency for completeness and compliance with state regulations. Ensure that all paperwork is processed correctly within the system.
- Enter and maintain accurate records in the CVR system and other Hilb Systems, ensuring that all transactions are recorded and processed correctly and within appropriate time frames.
- Identify and resolve issues related to registration, titles, or the CVR system, escalating complex issues to supervisors when needed
- Maintain confidentiality and ensure all transactions comply with state and federal laws and regulations. Safeguard sensitive customer information and ensure secure handling of records.
- Participate in training sessions related to the CVR system and other Registry procedures. Provide support to fellow team members when necessary.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Previous experience working with computer systems or data entry is preferred.
- Experience in a customer service or office environment is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of the CVR system or similar registry systems preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact professionally with customers.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to quickly learn new software systems and technologies.
