The Hilb Group is currently seeking a motivated and ambitious Benefit Technology Case Builder to join our team. The ideal candidate will be motivated to succeed, is well organized, able to prioritize, and able to work well with a team. This is a remote position.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Build and configure benefit cases in Employee Navigator based on client specifications and benefit documentation.

  • Review and interpret benefit plan documents, SBCs, and carrier summaries to ensure accurate setup of eligibility, contributions, rates, and plan rules.

  • Collaborate with account managers, brokers, and clients to gather required plan information and resolve discrepancies.

  • Configure benefit rules such as waiting periods, age reductions, class distinctions, and dependent eligibility.

  • Conduct quality assurance checks to validate accuracy and functionality before client review or go-live.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, compliance requirements, and carrier nuances.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to benefit configuration and system performance.

  • Assist with ongoing maintenance and updates to client cases during renewals or plan changes.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience working with and in Employee Navigator

  • 2+ years of experience in benefits administration, HRIS systems, or insurance brokerage support.

  • Strong working knowledge of employee benefits (medical, dental, vision, life, disability, etc.).

  • Ability to read and interpret benefit documents and translate them into system configurations.

  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and related tools.
